What is Vodacom Football?

A subscription service that enables subscribers to follow a specific football club and receive match alerts during matches; and team news during non-match days.

The service is available to all Vodacom Lesotho subscribers; both Prepaid and Postpaid. It is available on all cellphone models.



When will Vodacom Football be available?

           Vodacom Football will be available on August 25th.

One service pack (team) will be charged at 50 Lisente per week.

The process will work as follows:

1.    Upon activation, subscriber can select a team to follow from the available list.

2.    Teams are divided into leagues: EPL and UEFA, and PSL

3.   A subscriber will be charged 50 Lisente for each team to which they subscribe. Subscription will be valid for 7 days.

Business Rules

       1.       Subscription is valid for 7 days.

      2.       Subscription amount of 50 Lisente is applicable.

      3.       Subscription is renewed automatically; the subscriber will receive an SMS notification on the 5th day to alert them of the automatic                  renewal

      4.       The subscriber is given the opportunity to unsubscribe from the service either through USSD or SMS.

      5.       If at the end of the 7 days, the subscriber has not opted out of the service but does not have enough balance, then the account goes              into a grace period of 4 days. During the grace period the account is continually queried and if there is adequate balance, then the                subscription is renewed. The subscriber retains access to the service.

      6.       If at the end of the four day grace period the subscriber still has a low balance, the account is suspended and continuously queried for          automatic renewal. Suspension period lasts another 4 days. During suspension, the subscriber can no longer access the service.

      7.       If the subscriber still has a low balance at the end of the suspension period, then they will be unsubscribed from the service.

      8.       At all the different stages: grace, suspension and deactivation, the subscriber is alerted via SMS.
