N.U.L Internship Programme

Morija Arts & Cultural Festival

Vodacom is proudly associated with the annual Morija Arts & Cultural Festival. Now in its 7th year, Vodacom will continue to play an integral part in the promotion, sponsorship and success of this event.

Miss PcFM Pageant

Vodacom Lesotho is the primary sponsor of the annual Miss PcFM Pageant. This Pageant has become an important part of the Lesotho social calendar. Vodacom Lesotho also sponsors the weekly Buang Mocha-O-Chele programme on PcFM providing customers with up to date information on Vodacom products and services.

Ensured Salvation Orphanage

Vodacom Lesotho is a sponsor of the Ensured Salvation Orphanage. Our assistance enables the orphanage to purchase desperately needed food and clothing.

Masianokeng School/ Community Hall

In 2004/5, Vodacom Lesotho, through the Vodacom Foundation, funded and built a much needed School/ Community Hall for the residents and scholars of Masianokeng.

Makoanyane Primary School

In 2005/6, Vodacom Lesotho, through the Vodacom Foundation, provided much needed and urgent assistance to Makoanyane Primary School, where two buildings, housing 5 classrooms, were destroyed by the tornado that struck the area in September 2005.

Vodacom SuperTalk FunWalk

This annual event, held between March and May every year, is Vodacom's way of participating in the community by hosting an outdoor social event in Maseru. In 2006, all the proceeds from this event were donated to the District Administrator for Maseru to assist the victims of the 2005 tornado.

Donation of Blankets

Vodacom Lesotho, through Her Majesty the Queen, donated over R15,000 worth of blankets to be given to the less fortunate orphans in Lesotho.

Mohokare Golf Classic

Vodacom Lesotho is a proud sponsor of the Lesotho leg of the Mohokare Golf Classic that is held in Swaziland, Botswana and Lesotho on an annual basis.

Vodacom Lesotho Sun Roof of Africa Rally

Vodacom Lesotho was a primary sponsor of the Roof of Africa Rally in 2004 and 2005. This motorcycle showcase forms a large part of Lesotho's tourist influx.

Hlokomela Bana Potjiekos Competition

Vodacom Lesotho staff participated in the 2004 and 2005 Hlokomela Bana Potjiekos Competition held at Maseru Sun to raise funds for this orphanage in Lesotho. Vodacom Lesotho presented additional funding for the orphanage at this event.
