We are proud to release our 2024/25 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, which details our strong commitment to fostering a sustainable, inclusive and resilient digital future for Lesotho. This report is a proof of our purpose-led strategy and our role as a key partner in the nation's development.

This past fiscal year, we made significant strides in connecting Basotho and driving positive change. Our key achievements include:

Digital & Financial Inclusion: We now connect over 1.6 million Basotho, achieving a 93.6% mobile connection penetration rate. Our M-Pesa service is empowering 855,177 customers, while our device financing initiative has equipped thousands with smartphones, bridging the digital divide.

Environmental Stewardship: We have achieved 100% renewable energy matching for our grid electricity consumption. Our 110 fully solar-powered cell sites and the significant energy generation from our head office solar system underscore our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.

Community Investment: We invested M23.1 million in community initiatives focusing on education, healthcare, youth development and environmental projects. This includes connecting 160 schools to the internet and establishing 7 crucial ICT training hubs.

Employer of Choice: For the sixth consecutive year, we have been certified as a Top Employer, reflecting our dedication to creating an outstanding environment for our people.

As Tsepo Ntaopane, our Executive Head of External Affairs and Regulatory, states, "Our 2024/25 ESG achievements are a clear manifestation of our commitment to connecting Basotho, protecting the environment and building enduring trust through responsible business practices."
