Insta-Voice

Instavoice is a voice blog service that allows subscribers to interact with celebrities and football clubs.
InstaVoice was launched on May 26th2017.
The service is available to all Vodacom Lesotho subscribers; both Prepaid and Postpaid. It is available on all cellphone models through IVR and available on smart phones via the InstaVoice “Voicemail & Missed Call Alerts” app.

It charges M1.50 per day per subscription.

Business Rules

  • Subscription is valid for one day
  • The service is charged M1.50 daily
  • On days where there is no content available, the fee is transferred to the following day
  • The first day of subscription is free
  • IVR call to access new content, un/subscription SMS and USSD are all free. The user only pays the subscription fee.
  • Retrieving old content is charged M1.50 via IVR (1189) and free on the app (subject to data charges)
  • User can subscribe via *118# or by sending SUB <keyword> to 1188 via SMS. See keyword list above.
  • To unsubscribe, the user sends UNSUB <keyword> to 1188.
  • When the subscriber has a low balance, no content will be delivered.
  • A subscriber only has access to content posted after they subscribe. No historic data is available.
