1. THE COMPETTION
Vodacom Lesotho M-pesa herein provides a below the line promotion marked hereto buy airtime through M-pesa in order to stand a chance to win M-pesa to the value of M500.00. The competition tenure, eligibility criteria for entry and winning criteria shall be regulated by Vodacom to the extent enshrined under the terms and conditions inscribed below. In this regard, it is recorded that this is a sole standard that is drafted to govern the provision of this competition, and shall be read and interpreted for the purpose of these terms and conditions.
2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
2.1 Contestants designated for the promotion are selected using a specific criteria known to Vodacom and shall be notified by Vodacom through SMS. Also, only the selected contestants shall stand a chance to participate in the competition and win the prizes on promotion.
2.2 Contestants may transact as many times as they want in order to stand a chance to win prizes for the competition.
2.3 Entering the competition is free except for charges applicable for ordinarily applicable transaction fees.
2.4 The winners of the prizes will be contacted on their cell phone numbers used to enter the competition, for any other information requested by any contestant, privacy policy and laws shall be applicable.
2.5 The winning contestants shall be the individuals who will be randomly drawn amongst the top 10 contestants with most transaction irrespective of the value of the transactions and the lawful users of such mobile phone numbers whom the initial competition entrance promotion message was sent.
2.6 The winners of the competition shall be selected at the end of the competition which shall sustain for a period of a week beginning (please insert dates and exact time). Vodacom's decision on drawing out of the winning contestants shall be final.
2.7 Vodacom reserves the right to compensate the contestants who shall have the equivalent number of transaction with the first drawn out top ten with either a prize of M500.00 M-pesa or any amounts to its sole discretion.
2.8 In the event of any dispute arising from the draw, Vodacom may, at its sole and absolute discretion, be able to decide upon the issues arising from the dispute without the involvement of any third party. Vodacom's decision shall be final and binding upon all participants and Vodacom shall not be obliged to give reasons for its decision or enter into correspondence in connection therewith.
2.9 Vodacom reserves the right to terminate this promotion immediately and without notice, in the event of such termination, contestants agree to waive any rights they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they have no right of recourse against Vodacom.
2.10 The contestants acknowledge that Vodacom reserves the right at any time during the tenure of this competition to at its sole discretion disable, suspend, terminate or remove any participant from the competition, without notice, should Vodacom in its reasonable opinion believe that the participant has contravened or breached any provision of these terms and conditions. Vodacom may also, effect modifications to the competition, in which event the contestants shall have no claim against Vodacom as a result thereof.
2.11 If for any reason this promotion or draw is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of Vodacom which may affect the integrity or fairness of the promotion, Vodacom reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition and Vodacom shall bear no liability.
2.12 This promotion complies with the Central Bank Payment System (Issuer of Electronic Payment Instruments) Regulations 2017 to the extent that the promotion does not require either notification or approval or any necessary communication on or before launch and also that Vodacom guarantees the protection of customer's rights as provided for under Regulations 32 and 33.
