MyMuze Top Voters


Vodacom Top Voters Campaign (hereinafter referred to as the “Campaign”) is a Vodacom Lesotho marketing Campaign which shall apply the Terms and Conditions outlined hereunder.

    7. Duration of the Campaign
    8. The Campaign shall run from 13 November 2023 (being the first day) to the 29th February 2024 (last day inclusive).

    9. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
    10. By participating in this Campaign, all entrants warrant that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions which are available on the VODACOM website at www.vodacom.co.ls and VODACOM retail shops.
    11. By participating in the Campaign, entrants confirm their voluntary participation and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and agree:
      1. to receive SMS communication from VODACOM on their mobile phones relating to the Campaign
      2. to receive SMS communication/advertising from VODACOM relating to the Campaign
    12. By subscribing to MyMuze during the campaign period and participating, winners agree that their data, including names, surnames, initials, photos and video images, may be used by VODACOM for advertising purposes.
    13. These Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect for the duration of the Campaign (not taking into account temporary suspensions of the offer for operational reasons, e.g. for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades).

    14. Eligibility to Participate in the Campaign
    15. The following persons are eligible to participate in the Campaign:
      1. Natural persons who are VODACOM customers during the Campaign, except those specifically excluded under article 1.11 below.
      2. If a winner is under 18, upon delivery of the prize, the winner's guardian must collect it on the minor's behalf and he /she must produce his/her ID together with a legal document (this may include chief's letter, affidavit etc.) confirming that he/she is the legal guardian of the minor.

    16. Excluded persons
      The following persons are excluded from participating in the Campaign:
      1. Employees of VODACOM.
      2. Immediate family members of the above, being parents, spouses, siblings, and children. Immediate family does NOT include in-laws, close relatives such as cousins, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces, grandparents, and other extended family members.
      3. Employees of Campaign suppliers and judges
      4. Non-citizens of the Kingdom of Lesotho who are not legitimately in the country or may fail to provide any documents as may be requested by Vodacom.
      5. Employees of any company directly collaborating with VODACOM for the purpose of executing this Campaign

    17. VODACOM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any provision of the Terms and Conditions.
    18. By participating in the Campaign, entrants hereby warrant that all information submitted is true, current and complete

    19. Availability and accessibility of information
    20. All information pertaining to the Campaign shall be published on the VODACOM website at www.vodacom.co.ls and Vodacom social media platforms and any queries relating thereto shall be submitted to the call center at 114.
    21. VODACOM reserves the right to cancel or amend the Campaign and these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be made available on the VODACOM website.

    22. Campaign Mechanics
    23. The Campaign is open to Prepaid, Top-Up & Postpaid customers (“Customers”) who are not excluded by the eligibility terms in clause 1.11
    24. To be eligible for participation and the prizes, subscribers shall subscribe to MyMuze and engage on the platform
    25. Subscribers shall be eligible for participation through all the MyMuze packages. Meaning, customers will need to subscribe to the platform via USSD on *230*2# or on the webpage www.mymuze.com/ls
    26. They shall vote on the MyMuze platform or webpage that can be accessed via www.mymuze.com/ls
    27. A draw will be made from which top five voters will be selected for the cash prizes
    28. The more votes a customer casts, the more they shall increase their chances of winning
    29. A total of nineteen (19) winners covering the ticket and cash prizes shall be selected
    30. The winners will be contacted on the MSISDNs that they used to subscribe on the platform. They shall be contacted from the day of their announcement
    31. A subscriber can only win a prize once during the campaign period
    32. A subscribe can win either a ticker or cash prize (not both) under the campaign
    33. Winners shall be at liberty to select a preferred method of delivery of the cash prizes. The available options shall be Cash and M-Pesa. Cash will be collected at Vodacom Stores upon verification of subscriber identity.
    34. The consolidated list of winners will be published on Vodacom’s Facebook social media platform.
    35. Communication made regarding the campaign shall be made only to customer who have opted into receiving Vodacom marketing messages

  • Notices and Redemption of Prizes
    1. All winners shall be contacted by VODACOM via SMS and/or a phone call to their MSISDN number used to participate in the Campaign.
    2. All winners will receive notices within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the announcement.
    3. All prizes will be delivered within thirty (30) working days from the day that the winner is contacted.
    4. If a winner cannot be contacted within thirty (30) calendar days from the draw date, or a notified winner refuses the prize or fails to appear to collect it within thirty (30) calendar days of notification, then VODACOM shall contact the runner-up winner (s) who will be awarded the prize(s). If none of the winners or runner-up winners accept the prize or do not show up within thirty (30) calendar days of notification, then the prize will remain the property of VODACOM.
    5. Prizes shall not be transferable.

  • Limitation of liability
    1. VODACOM accepts no responsibility whatsoever including without limitation, any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure when it is not under its direct control and execution.

  • Disclaimer of warranties
    1. Participants understand and agree that they participate in this Campaign at their own risk and willingness and have not been coerced in any manner to enter.
    2. VODACOM makes no warranty, implied or express, that any part of the Campaign will be uninterrupted and error-free.
    3. Neither VODACOM nor any of its directors, employees, agents or suppliers shall accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant participating in the Campaign or as a result of accepting the prize.
    4. VODACOM is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials associated with the Campaign .
    5. By entering the Campaign, entrants agree that no claim relating to such losses or injuries (including special, indirect and consequential losses) shall be asserted against VODACOM, its parent companies, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance or user of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage.

  • Data Protection and Publicity
    1. Personal data related to voice, image, names or address and any other relevant information obtained in connection with the Campaign will be used in a confidential manner and in line with the Vodacom Privacy Management Policy.
    2. VODACOM shall not release personal information about participants of the Campaign to third parties unless required to do so in compliance with the governing law.

  • Suspension and termination of the Campaign
    1. VODACOM reserves the right, whenever deemed necessary, to temporarily suspend the Campaign for operational reasons (e.g. for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades) and undertakes to restore same as soon as possible after any temporary suspension period.
    2. Interruption or early termination of the Campaign shall not release VODACOM from its obligation to give out already awarded prizes and execute all other actions required to give effect to such except for the cases when termination or interruption of the Campaign resulted from actions or events which are not under VODACOM's control.
    3. VODACOM shall notify subscribers of any termination or suspension of the Campaign

  • VODACOM's decision regarding the Campaign and /or Terms and Conditions shall be final.
    1. In any case of disagreement or disputes relating to Vodacom's decision, participants shall lodge their complaints with VODACOM for amicable resolution of the same which shall be settled through private good faith negotiations.
    2. If the dispute is not resolved within fourteen (14) working days of an attempt to resolve such or the aggrieved party is not happy with the outcome, then he/she shall lodge a complaint with the Lesotho communications Authority and shall further be at liberty to exercise any other rights or remedies in law.
